CBRail was established in 2004 as a Rolling Stock Leasing Company that is focused on providing customers with flexible, competitive yet practical rolling stock operating leases for locomotives and passenger trains in the European rail market.

CBRail combines the marketing, structuring and European presence of Babcock & Brown in conjunction with the structuring, funding and risk management expertise of Bank of Scotland Corporate.

CBRail's aim is to listen to and understand the needs of passenger rolling stock and locomotive operators, manufacturers and rail industry contractors and offer operating leases tailored to meet those needs. CBRail views asset finance as a long term business and we look forward to being able to develop long term and successful relationships with our customers.
